Unfortunately Judy has been unwell for some time and this has restricted the time that Graham can spend running the business. As a result stock is now extremely low and we have a large backlog of pre-orders. Consequently we have taken the decision to remove the ability to pre-order out of stock Cambrian Kits from 25/09/2026. We do not intend this to be permanent but need some breathing space until Judy is fully recovered.

We are still open for sales of Straight Metal Wire, Brass Section, Gibson Wheels and Parkside Kits. In addition "bought in" Cambrian items like the Tie Bars and Fine Chain are also still available. There are a few Cambrian kits still in stock and more will be added as the backlog of pre-orders is worked through.

We accept orders from all over the world. Deliveries outside the UK are free of UK Tax and will show as such in the store once you have indicated a country for delivery in the checkout. The Export/Import of Scale Model Kits is tariff free to/from most of the world except the EU and USA however you may be liable for local sales tax which will be collected by the carrier (normally your local postal service) before delivery. They may also ask for a handling charge for doing this. Some countries exclude small value orders from this action. For the EU and USA our carrier (Royal Mail) calculates and pays the appropriate charges and these are added to the Standard Delivery charge and appear on your invoice as one lump sum. Please note the "per item (SKU)" charge for the EU can considerably inflate the cost for multiple single items.

UK Postage starts at £2.70 (inc VAT) for a small open wagon kit rising to £3.00 for a larger kit. From past experience we expect that most 16mm orders will also go out at these charges. Larger orders are charged according to their weight. A few items (C11, C12, NA18 & NA19) have to use parcel post which for UK postage is £5.40. We are very happy to post worldwide.
