The Home for Cambrian Models
Cooper-Craft and Eileen's Emporium

After 5 years of running the business we have now taken on a new challenge and have acquired the much missed Cooper-Craft 4mm wagon, vehicle and lineside moulds along with the 16mm wagon and lineside moulds. They will require some work to get them back in production. We had hoped to have some models available in February 2023 but it is taking longer to resolve some moulding issues on key parts than anticipated and it may be the autumn before we can release the range with confidence of being able to sustain production. Some 4mm lineside and all the 16mm wagon kits are available and are listed here.
The Kirk and Mailcoach range of moulds formerly held by Cooper-Craft and the Cooper-Craft BR Mk1 Coaches have been acquired by Phoenix Precision Paints Limited see https://www.phoenix-paints.co.uk/products/lner-coaches .
Please note that neither of us have taken on the business of "Paul Dunn trading as Cooper-Craft" and bear no responsibility for, and cannot resolve, any difficulties that previous customers of Cooper-Craft have had.

In April 2023 we purchased the entire stock of straight wire from the liquidators of Eileen's Emporium and it is listed here. We also have some metal section and sheet and a quantity of Slaters Plastikard. Please use the contact form if there is something you want and used to buy from Eileen's Emporium. We may well have it even if it is not listed. The micro brass section is beginning to be listed here

We accept orders from all over the world. Deliveries outside the UK are free of UK Tax and will show as such in the store once you have indicated a country for delivery in the checkout. The Export/Import of Scale Model Kits is tariff free to/from the EU and most other countries however you may be liable for local sales tax which will be collected by the carrier (normally your local postal service) before delivery. They may also ask for a handling charge for doing this. Some countries exclude small value orders from this action.

It is our policy that items will only be shown as in stock if we physically have the designated number of bagged kits or items to dispatch immediately. Continued high demand from our exhibition traders means that we are not holding as much 4mm stock as we would like. However out of stock items are available to pre-order. We are moulding new items every day and will prioritise production of pre-ordered items so that they will normally be available for dispatch within 3 days with the rest of your order. If your want to delay payment in these circumstances until you are sure that the items are ready then please use the Purchase Order option in the Checkout and we will send you an email link for payment when they are ready. We also accept orders for spare parts or part kits. Please use the contact form to make your enquiry about these or any other matters.

UK Postage starts at £2.70 (inc VAT) for a small open wagon kit rising to £3.00 for a larger kit. From past experience we expect that most 16mm orders will also go out at these charges. Larger orders are charged according to their weight. A few items (C11, C12, NA18 & NA19) have to use parcel post which for UK postage is £4.80. We are very happy to post worldwide. Details of all the delivery charges can be found here.

We reviewed the prices for the 4mm range in June 2023 and will apply the increased prices from 3rd July 2023. Old details for the 4mm range can be found here and for the 16mm range here.

Our 4mm (1:76) Kits

These are plastic (polystyrene) kits which include underframes etc. & bogies (where needed). You will need wheels/bearings, transfers, couplings & paint to complete our kits. There are more details on the 4mm Kit Construction page.  Plastic buffers are included in all kits, however some newer kits have separate buffer body parts which make it easier to fit cast/sprung buffers. Our range covers a long period of railway history: from about 1900 to the present day – wagons such as C14 Sharks & C88 ASF-bogied Salmons are still in use in 2014 (some as Ospreys). If you are new to kit building, these kits with "one-piece" floors and underframe are the simplest to put together – C79, C84, C93, C96 and C97.

Our 16mm Narrow Gauge (1:19) Components

Plastic parts are injection moulded in polystyrene (usually medium grey colour). Some items, such as NA11 Centre Buffer/coupling and NA12 Buffers, have some metal parts.
