This kit of the 20ft 20 ton double verandah brake van with a 12ft wheelbase and steel underframe originally designed by the Midland Railway but with versions also built by the LMS. It can be made up into several different versions with or without duckets. The MR did not use duckets.

Early outside framed ends -D1658 fitted or D1659 unfitted

Later inside framed ends - D1656 fitted or D1657 unfitted
